Oh No Christmas Tree

We got this tree.
I liked this tree.
Then it fell over.
Ornaments broke.
We got a new stand.
We tried rocks, ropes, books…
The tree fell over
and over
and over.
More ornaments broke.
I hated the tree.
We turned it and leaned it against the corner.
Half the lights faced the wrong way.
I wanted to get rid of it.
My husband wouldn’t let me.
We left it in the corner all month.
Then
it was Christmas Eve.
I always take a picture with our tree.
I wanted to skip this year.
My husband wouldn’t let me.
I took this picture.
I love this picture.
I love my family.
I love our tree.
