COVID LIMERICKS March 2021 edition

There once was a horrible year

that kept the world living in fear.

But…

we all did our part,

stayed 6 feet apart.

And now a third vaccine is here!

I took the pandemic in stride

with pizza and beer by my side.

I sheltered in place

with sauce on my face.

And watched all of Netflix inside.

So, now that we’re done with this ride,

I’m anxious to venture outside.

But — it isn’t my luck,

you see, I am stuck!

My carb hips have gotten too wide.
